iPads are a great tool to us as an assistive technology device in a special education classroom to increase language and communication, but there are so many more capabilities when an educator thinks outside the box and realizes that it can be used for More Than Words. Mobile technologies are making it easier for students to share their ideas and creations by using More Than Words. . Participants in this session will walk away with different ideas on how to use an iPad in a multi-ability classroom. Gain ideas to use The Weather Channel App in whole group, ideas to differentiate instruction during small group and even using apps for data collection in direct instruction. Give your students the ability to participate in activities with More Than Words.
