Augmented Reality: Bringing Learning to Life

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Augmented Reality offers a unique opportunity for teachers to bring the world to students in the classroom by using image recognition to deliver digital content (including videos, animations, audio, and webpages) to images, called targets. The presenters will explore ways to integrate Augmented Reality into classrooms of all subjects and grade levels, giving suggestions and ideas for lessons and activities that you can easily create for your students. Artifacts that have been used in the classroom will be shared for attendees to experience the world of Augmented Reality. Come prepared to learn and discuss ways to capture students attention by turning resources or student work into interactive activities and experience. In preparation for the session, it is recommended that you download Aurasma Lite from the iTunes store (it is a free download).
