I love being a teacher. I enjoy equipping students with the tools they'll need to find success in life. I love watching students get excited when they grasp a new concept. I also love working with technology. I have experience with a variety of tools including iPads, iPods, Apple computers, SMART Boards, and Windows computers. My goal in my classroom is to use technology to engage students and help them learn to use these tools to meet both their educational and lifelong goals.

I have been in education for 15 years and am a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University. I have taught special education, tech education, language arts, science, and several other subjects in between. I have worked with students in grades K through 8th in both Oklahoma and Arkansas. I have the privilege of being a STAR Discovery Educator. I have also been a presenter at Hot Springs Technology Institute in Hot Springs, AR, Schools without Walls Technology, Curriculum, and Common Core Leadership Conference in Hot Springs, Arkansas and Podstock, a technology conference, in Wichita, KS. Additionally I have provided technology staff development for several school districts in southwest Arkansas.
